Prof. Dr. T.S. Kamal is a renowned International figure in the field of technical education, happens to be the real mentor of RIET, as its Director Principal cum Prof. ECE. He also happens to be a premier academician, having coveted degrees, of B.E. & M.E.in ECE from University of Roorkee & Ph.D. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is regarded as multi farious genius, in his field and has vast experience of around 40 years, on different capacities, in the field of teaching, research, industry, academics & administration. He has a special flair for research activities and has guided 19 research scholars for Ph.D. Moreover, his around300 international/national publications are rare achievement in itself. He has attended/chaired many conferences/seminars and has been instrumental in promoting various academic activities, for different apex bodies of repute, such as Institution of Engineers, Indian Science Congress Association, Society of Technical Education, I.E.E.E.-U.S.A., Board of studies of various universities etc. Moreover, he is a widely travelled technocrat with specialization in Digital Communication, Digital Filters, Optical Communication and Neural Networks. Recently he has been bestowed with recognition of International Prof by the Govt. of Australia. His contribution towards Engineering as Vice President Institute of Engineering-India is widely acclaimed.
