
To commemorate the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya, the college celebrated Engineers Day on 15th Sep 2010. Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (1860-1965) was called a wizard in engineering. He was also called the precursor of economic planning in India. He took an interest not in engineering alone, but was capable of applying his talent to many allied matters connected with the development of the nation. On this occasion Er. Malkeet Singh A.S.E., Punjab State Electricity Board (Muktsar) and Er.Anil Vij D.T.E. (Abohar) spared their time to grace the juncture. In their spec they motivated the students by stressing upon the need and the importance of Positive thinking and constructive approach in life. Students exhibited a blend of their cultural and Technical talent by participating in various cultural and technical events. Model presentations by the students were the central attraction of the event. Expert’s talk on “Ethical Hacking” by Er.Pankaj Grover was immensely cherished by all.
